Rukuhia School is located on the outskirts of Glenview, 5 minutes south of the Glenview Shopping Centre.
Rukuhia is a small country school with around 80 students. Four classrooms from year 1 to 8, a new hall, an extensive library, swimming pool, large courts, adventure playgrounds, a giant grass area and large garden areas.
As soon as you come in you will be greeted by a family of fun and friendly faces. If you look a little closer you will find high quality education with awesome teachers and staff. Every child in every class has access to at least 5 computers, an interactive whiteboard, ICT tools, digital cameras, and the latest math and literacy equipment.
We participate in many events such as swimming, athletics, agriculture day, and speech competitions, cross country and sports days.
We strongly value and pride ourselves on the positive relationships between students, with the teachers and with our families in the community.
As a senior at Rukuhia I have found that I have had the same amount, if not more, opportunities as my friends at the bigger schools around us. I have been a successful and celebrated leader, sports person, academic achiever, artist, mediator, designer, teacher and problem solver.
